About Me

I'm Olivia Whelan! A 19 year old student from the North West, studying Fashion Marketing.

This website was created for me to share my personal ideas on future trend predictions, aswell as writing reports. I also include industry and editorial reports which link back to ideas I discuss. The main focus of this is sustainability and ethicality in high street brands, namely Zara.

The name Ivory Halen was pulled from the creativity of my mother. As a child, my siblings and I created lots of art work and wanted this to be displayed, so our mother created an art gallery for us in our playroom. It was named the Ivory Halen gallery as it encorporated all letters from each of our names; Henry, Olivia, and Ava. The name seemed a perfect fit for the name of this blog.

I aim to use this website more regularly, as an outlet for my own creativity to bloom and my writing skills improve.
